Kay was called to the Bar as a Barrister in July 2003. In August 2009, Kay then qualified as a Solicitor. Kay was appointed as a Partner on 1 January 2023.

Kay joined Bennetts in July 2016 and will continue her practice in a broad range of private client work, including administration of estates, trusts, tax, Wills and Powers of Attorney and offering advice on a range of elderly client issues. She is particularly interested in matters involving agricultural assets.

Kay is a member of the Private Client Section of the Law Society of England and Wales and the Devon and Cornwall Law Society (DASLA).
